Hendra Setiawan

Hendra Setiawan ( born August 25, 1984 in Pemalang, Jawa Tengah ) is a badminton player from Indonesia. His older sister Silvia Anggraini, also active in badminton is married to badminton player Hendrawan.
Career
In 2005 he won together with Markis Kido the Badminton Asia Championships and the Indonesia Open. They won in 2006 and the Jakarta Satellite, the Hong Kong Open and the China Open after with 21:16 and 21:16 defeated Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng in the final.
At the 2007 World Championships in Kuala Lumpur before they penetrated to the final and defeated Jung Jae -sung there and Lee Yong -dae of South Korea with 21:19 and 21:19. They won the 2007 China Open Super Series after they had Guo Zhendong and Xie Zhongbo defeated from China with 21:12 and 21:19. In July 2007, they were defeated at the China Masters only of the Chinese world No. 1 pair Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng in the final 15:21 and 16:21. In the last tournament of the year 2007, they won in the finals at the Hong Kong Super Series against Candra Wijaya and Tony Gunawan with 21:12, 18:21, 21:13.
In 2008 she won the Malaysia Super Series. On August 16, both together won the men's doubles final of the Olympic badminton tournament in Beijing in 2008 against the Chinese pair Cai Yun and Fu Haifeng.
2013 brought Setiawan again the title at the World Championships in men's doubles, together with his new partner Mohammad Ahsan, with which he played together since 2013.
