Henok Goitom

Henok Goitom ( born September 22, 1984 in Solna ) is a Swedish football player. The striker, who is from Eritrea, his previous professional career played mainly in southern Europe. Since mid-August 2012, he is at AIK under contract.
Career
Goitom played in youth at FC Internazionale Orhoy and Essinge IK, before he moved to the youth department of the Italian club Udinese Calcio 2003. There he made his debut on 19 February 2005 in Serie A. In the match against Inter Milan the striker with the 1-1 draw in the final minute managed a score. As a result, he was several times on the bench of the club, but was no longer used. Nevertheless, he was appointed to the Swedish U- 21 team and came in a 1-1 draw against the French junior national team in the same month to their debut.
In the summer of 2005, he was loaned to Ciudad de Murcia in the Spanish Segunda División. There he could impress and shot in the 2006/07 season 15 goals this season. Then he was signed in the summer of 2007 from local rivals Real Murcia. There is speculation about a transfer fee of 3.3 million euros.
Goitom made his debut on the opening day of the season 2007 /08 in La Liga when he came on 25 August in a 2-1 home win over his new club Real Zaragoza in the 65th minute for Iván Alonso. On September 26 he was in the 0-1 home defeat against UD Almería for the first time in the starting lineup, but could not permanently play in the first team. His first Erstligator in Spain he succeeded on 16 December, in the game against Racing Santander. Five minutes after he had been on in the 52 minutes for Íñigo, he led with his goal to a 2-1 win. The season, however, remained without success, as the table next to last he was relegated with the club from the Spanish elite series.
However Goitom remained in the Primera División and moved on loan to Real Valladolid. Following the one-year loan period, the club from Castile -Leon had an option to buy. Here he was able to establish itself as a regular force and contributed ten scored goals this season as the best club of internal scorer for the club in relegation. However, he left after the season the club and went to Hugo Sánchez trained League rivals UD Almería, in which he was to replace the Real Madrid Alvaro Negredo migrated. At the beginning of the season he fell out due to injury.
