Henri Karjalainen

Henri Mikael Karjalainen (born 19 February 1986) is a Finnish racing driver.

2000 Karjalainen began his motorsport career in karting, which he held until 2003. In the following two years Karjalainen was active in the German Formula BMW and scored a total of five points. In 2006, the Finn to Asia and started in both of the Asian Formula 3, as well as in the Asian Formula Renault Championship, where he finished fourth overall with a race victory. Karjalainen 2007 remained in the Asian Formula 3 and secured with five wins in 13 races the runner-up title. After his compatriot Markus Niemelä had sustained a shoulder injury, Karjalainen was allowed to start for BCN Competición as a substitute in Istanbul. Karjalainen 2008 moved to North America in the Formula Atlantic and was 17th in the overall standings.

Karjalainen 2009, launched in the revived Formula 2 and finished at the end of the season 15th overall. He also participated in some part of different races Formula Renault championships and won a race in the Finnish Formula Renault.
