Henri Oreiller

Henri Oreiller ( born December 5, 1925 in Paris, † October 7, 1962 in Montlhery ) was a French ski racer and race car driver.

Oreiller won the gold medal in downhill skiing and in that time also olympic evaluated combination as well as the bronze medal in the slalom at the 1948 Winter Olympics in St. Moritz. In addition, he was several times French champion. After his career as a ski racer Oreiller was racing driver. He died in a touring car race at the Autodrome de Linas- Montlhery (south of Paris) died.

Together with Jean -Claude Killy Oreiller is named after the famous World Cup downhill piste Oreiller - Killy (OK -piste ) in Val d'Isere.
