Henry III, Count of Schauenburg-Holstein

Henry III. Look of Burg- Holstein ( † February 1421 in Bordesholm ) was Bishop of Osnabrück ( 1402-1410 ) then Count of Holstein.

He was the youngest son of Henry II and his second wife Ingeborg of Mecklenburg -Schwerin. He remained unmarried as a chaplain.

Life

As the youngest son he was scheduled for a church career and became a deacon in Osnabrück. After the death of the bishop, he was appointed on 2 February 1402, his successor.
