Heriberto Bodeant

Heriberto Andrés Bodeant Fernández ( born June 15, 1955 in Young, Uruguay) is Bishop of Melo.

Life

Heriberto Andrés Fernández Bodeant received on 27 September 1986, the sacrament of Holy Orders and was incardinated in the Clergy of the Diocese of Salto.

On 28 June 2003 by Pope John Paul II appointed Titular Bishop of Ampora and appointed him as Auxiliary Bishop of Salto. The Bishop of Salto, Daniel Gil Zorrilla SJ, donated to him on 27 September of the same year the episcopal ordination; Co-consecrators were Bishop Emeritus of Salto, Marcelo Mendiharat Pommies, and the Bishop of Mercedes, Carlos María Collazzi Irazábal SDB. On June 13, 2009 Pope Benedict XVI appointed him. Bishop of Melo.
