Shawn Hernandez ( born February 11, 1973 in Houston, Texas), better known by his current ring name Hernandez, is an American professional wrestler. He currently performs regularly in TNA. One of his biggest successes was the five-time receipt of the TNA World Tag Team Championship.

Career

Background in sports / beginnings

Hernandez was an avid bodybuilder in his youth. He trained at the Texas Wrestling Academy, which was founded by Shawn Michaels Wrestling School.

In November 1996, Hernandez made ​​his debut in the Texas All- Star Wrestling promotion Texas and in the following years he has performed in various minor leagues. Between 2000 and 2001, Hernandez had some minor commitments at the World Wrestling Federation.

Independent in America and Japan

As of 2001, Hernandez occurred both in America and in Japan. His first title he won in the National Wrestling Alliance, as he was the NWA National Heavyweight Championship win. In Japan, Hernandez joined, among others, at All Japan Pro Wrestling, where he had accepted under the ring name Double Iron Sheik # 2.
