Hestroff

Hestroff ( German: Hess Village ) is a commune with 454 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Moselle in the Lorraine region.

Geography

The place is located in the north of Lorraine, two kilometers west of Anzeling and 13 kilometers from the German - French border.

History

The church was first mentioned as 960 Heruwinivilla. Other spellings denominated Harewainville (1212) and Hernedorp ( 1224 ).
