The M 07 is a Ukrainian highway. It runs from Kiev in a westerly direction parallel to the border with Belarus over Korosten Kovel and the Polish border in Chelm. Prior to 1991, the road was known as the A 255 in the Soviet road network. The continuation of the M 07 on Polish territory is the expressway S12 to Lublin and on to Piotrków in Łódź.
History
The distance between Chelm and Kovel was 1921-1939 with the territory of the Second Polish Republic and was declared by the Polish road Act of June 23, 1921, despite their unpaved extension state to state road ( droga Państwowa ).
