The Hillesheim is an administrative unit in the form of a local authority in the district of volcanic Eifel region of Rhineland -Palatinate. The municipality includes the town of Hille home and ten independent local churches, the county seat is located in the eponymous city Hille home.

History

The Hillesheim has arisen in the context of action taken in the second half of the 1960s and early 1970s, Rhineland-Palatinate, functional and territorial reform of the existing 1927 Office Hille home. On October 1, 1968, the Association of Municipalities were evaluated because of the "Land Act amending municipal constitutional requirements and to prepare for the reorganization of local government " initially converted from July 16, 1968 all 132 offices in the districts of Koblenz and Trier, including the Office Hillesheim in association communities.

Administrative headquarters of Hillesheim remained Hillesheim, which was raised on 24 October 1993 on the city.

Even before the formation of the association of municipalities and communities Loogh Kerpen to the new community Kerpen (Eifel ) were merged on June 7, 1969. Simultaneously with the formation of the association of municipalities and the municipalities Oberehe Stroheich were merged to form the new municipality Oberehe - Stroheich.

Subsequent changes: On March 17, 1974 the Bolsdorf and Niederbettingen to Hille Home, Mirbachstrasse incorporated to Wiesenbaum and Zilsdorf after Walsdorf.
