Hirschberg (Ohlstadt)

Location

It is located about four kilometers east of Eschenlohe and five kilometers west of Walchensee. Three kilometers to the north is Ohlstadt. South of the mountain runs the valley of Esch Laine, behind which the Estergebirge with Simetsberg and Hohe Kisten followed.

The massif has his main summit apart for several other peaks points to. About 500 meters north of the 1542m high oil Rain is upstream of which a pronounced ridge extends west to the 1,368 m high peak Easter fire.

The Hirschberg is forested up to the summit area. On the steeper south side of the forest is partially penetrated by Schrofen.

Ways

A forest road leads from Eschenlohe out on the south and east sides of the mountain up lying to the north of the oil Wankhütte Rain ( 1364 m). This route can also be traveled by mountain bike. From the north, from Ohlstadt from which Wankhütte a trail is accessible. From the Wankhütte from the increase partly leads pathless, partly east on a narrow path past the oil Rain and then continue on the Hirschberg.
