Højer

Højer municipality ( German: Hoyer ) was a municipality in southwestern Jutland Office ( Northern Schleswig ) in Denmark. It was created in 1970 through a merger of patch - rural commune Højer and the communities Daler, Emmerlev and Hjerpsted and the district Gjerrup ( Gærup ) from the community of Visby. In 2007, she went completely to the new Tønder municipality.

The metropoloitan Højer comprised 116.8 km ² and 2900 inhabitants. Accounted for on the spot with 1700 inhabitants, a further 400 were residing in the country parish Højer, the rest in the neighboring parishes Hjerpsted, Emmerlev and Daler. The country parish consisted of 29 km ², the spots Højer 9.5 km ².
