The Honda Center is an indoor arena in Anaheim, a city in the metropolitan area of Los Angeles, California, and home of the Anaheim Ducks of the NHL. Until its dissolution in 2005, the lacrosse team Anaheim Storm from the NLL wore their home games here.

The Anaheim Arena was completed in 1993 and cost 123 million U.S. dollars. A few months after the opening Arrowhead paid $ 15 million for the naming rights for a period of 10 years. The arena was thus known as the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim. In June 2006, Honda Motor Company acquired the naming rights to the arena, since the Honda Center is called.

The opening on 19 June 1993, it was committed by a concert by Barry Manilow. Since then, numerous events were organized in the arena, such as in the Stanley Cup finals in 2003, various wrestling shows such as WrestleMania XII, WrestleMania 2000 ( XVI), Royal Rumble 1999, UFC 59 and UFC 63

In addition, it has seen artists of distinction such as Depeche Mode, Coldplay, U2, Shakira, Madonna, Queen, Britney Spears, Tina Turner, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney and many others.

Between 1994 and 1998, the Los Angeles Clippers contributed a portion of their NBA games from here. Meanwhile, the Anaheim Bullfrogs Roller Hockey International from the Anaheim Piranhas and from the Arena Football League in the arena were indigenous. Since 1994, the John R. Wooden Classic is held here annually. In addition, the NCAA has several basketball tournaments (1998, 2001 and 2003) and the final round in college hockey ( Frozen Four 1999) held here.

The Honda Center is located opposite the Angel Stadium of Anaheim (here, the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim play in the MLB), about five miles from Disneyland.

The owner Broadcom billionaire Henry Samueli owns the company that operates the arena. On 25 February 2005 it was announced that the Walt Disney Company sold the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim to Samueli.
