Hong Kong Open (Squash)

The Hong Kong Squash Open is a squash tournament held annually for men and women. It takes place in Hong Kong and is in each part of the PSA World Series of lords and the WSA World Series of ladies.

The men's tournament was created in 2004 and currently belongs to the category World Series Platinum, the second highest rating category. The total prize money is thus $ 150,000. The Women since 2005 discharged tournament is part of the World Series and has a total prize money of U.S. $ 70,000.

Record holder in the men 's Amr Shabana of Egypt, the five times in a row won the tournament from 2005 to 2009. In the women there were in all conditions so far only one winner: the Malaysian Nicol David won all nine titles since 2005.
