The Hoogeveen station is a through station in the Dutch municipality of Hoogeveen in Drenthe. It is located on the railway line Meppel - Groningen and maintenance of intercity trains.
History
The station was opened on 1 May 1870. The original station building was demolished in 1984 and replaced by a new building in the same year.

In Hoogeveen have the following traits:
- Commuter Train from Zwolle to Groningen
Both for the 2010 timetable and the 2011 planned by the Nederlandse Spoorwegen (NS), the travel time of the intercity trains after Gronigen due to elimination of the holding in Meppel, Hoogeveen, hatchets and Haren to shorten. For the commuter train to Groningen should run more frequently. Following protests by the municipal council, the province of Drenthe, the consumer organization Locov and the Second Chamber against this change the NS have decided not to implement the plan.
