Hôpital-Camfrout

Hôpital- Camfrout ( Breton At Ospital ) is a commune in the north- west of Brittany in the département of Finistère with 2173 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

Location

The municipality is located on the Atlantic coast to the foothills of the Bay of Brest. It is located in the Regional Natural Park of Armorica (French Parc naturel régional d' Armorica ). Brest is situated 18 km north-west, Quimper 38 km south of Paris and about 480 kilometers east (all figures in a straight line ).

Infrastructure

In Daoulas and le Faou departures are located on the highway E 60 (Brest -Nantes ) and in Landerneau there is another on the E 50 (Brest - Rennes). In Landerneau is a regional railway station on the railway line Brest- Rennes -Brest and Nantes. The train station of Brest is the end of TGV Atlantique to Paris. Close to the capital city of Brest is the regional airport Aéroport de Brest Bretagne.
