Hoštice-Heroltice

Hoštice - Heroltice ( German Hoschtitz - Heroltitz ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. It is located five kilometers east of Vyškov and belongs to Okres Vyškov. Hoštice - Heroltice was created in 1942 by the merger of the municipalities Heroltice and Hoštice.

Geography

Hoštice - Heroltice located in the Hanna left side of the river Haná on an old branch of the river. The community forms a closed building area along the village street and a few side streets. The western part is Heroltice, the eastern Hoštice. Towards the south, the foothills of the Litenčické raise Hills. At the northern edge of the railway line runs Vyškov - Přerov, there is also the station Hoštice - Heroltice. In the south the right leads Haná past the Highway 1, take the next exit 236 is Ivanovice na Hané. To the northwest is the airfield Vyškov.

History

Heroltice

The first written mention of the village was carried out in 1349 as owned by Jan and Dětřich of Komorov. Between 1381 and 1391 the village belonged to the brothers Oldrich, Ondřej and Ješek Kyj of Heroltice. The owner of the goods exchanged in rapid succession. When setting up the parish Topolany Heroltice was 1388 along with Křižanovice and Rybníček assigned to. After the abolition of patrimonial Herotice / Herotitz formed in 1850 a municipality in the district team Wischau. 1859, the parish was renewed in Topolany. The volunteer fire department was founded in 1896. Since 1923 the church bore the name Heroltice / Heroltitz. 1925 Heroltice was umgepfarrt after Hoštice. Hoštice

Hoštice was among the possessions of the Knights in Ivanovice na Hané.
