Hřivínův Újezd

Hrivinuv Újezd ​​( German Hrziwno Augest, 1939-1945 Aujest at Großnußdorf ) is a municipality in the Czech Republic. You more than twelve kilometers south of Zlín and belongs to Okres Zlín.

Geography

Hrivinuv Újezd ​​extends to the west of Vizovice mountain country at the mouth of the creek in the valley of the brook Kaňovický Černý Potok. To the north rise the Kamenec ( 394 m) and the Kamenná ( 483 m), in the northeast of Obersky ( 483 m ) southwest of the Za Dvorem (410 m) and in the northwest of Doubí ( 429 m).

History

The first written mention of the village Vgiesd took place in 1373 as the seat of Vladiken Janáč Újezd ​​. Among his descendants were the Hřivín of Lipany, from which the track record since 1587 suffix Hrivinuv derived. They held the estate until 1483rd were followed until 1492 Vilém Hřivín and then Vlašček of Petropim who sold a part of the village in 1493 to Hynko of Zástřizl. He purchased in 1515 the other unit including the mill by Jan Dune Újezd ​​. Besides Újezd ​​the place name Blatný was used at that time. In 1535 Újezd ​​was connected to the Good Ořechov. After the abolition of patrimonial Hřívný Augezd / Hrziwno Augezd formed in 1850 a municipality in the district administration and the judicial district of the Uherský Brod.
