On 3 February 2011 the Danish Ministry of Transport confirmed that they wanted to rethink the naming. BornholmerFærgen announced a contest in which the citizens should submit a name for the ship. In the following vote, the already mentioned by name Leonora Christina thought prevailed with 50.22 % of votes.
