Huacaraje Municipality

The municipality Huacaraje is a district in the department of Beni in the South American Andes State of Bolivia.

Location in near space

The municipality Huacaraje is one of three Municipalities of the province Iténez and is located in the southwestern part of the province. It is bordered to the north by the municipality of Magdalena, on the west by the province Mamoré, to the south by the province of Cercado, and on the east by the municipality of Baures.

The central location of the municipality is the city Huacaraje country with 1,911 inhabitants ( 2001 census ) in the northeastern part of the municipality.

Geography
