Hugh XIII of Lusignan

Hugo XIII. of Lusignan, called the Brown (Le Brun ), ( * June 25, 1259; † November 1, 1303 in Angoulême ) was lord of Lusignan, Count of La Marche and Angoulême.

He was the son of Hugo XII. of Lusignan and Jeanne de Fougères. After the death of his father in 1270 he succeeded him as lord of Lusignan, Count of La Marche and Count of Angoulême. The paternal dominions Couhé and Peyrat inherited by his younger brother Guido.

On July 1, 1276, he married Beatrice of Burgundy in Pau (* 1260, † 1328/29 ), daughter of the Duke Hugo IV of Burgundy and his second wife Beatrice of Champagne.

Hugo died childless on 1 November 1303. His brother Guido was his successor.
