Ihor Snitko

Ihor Hryhorowytsch Snitko (Ukrainian Ігор Григорович Снітко, scientific transliteration Ihor Hryhorovyč Snitko; born August 13, 1978 in Kharkiv ) is a Ukrainian swimmer and Olympic athletes.

He has specialized in the distances 400-1500 meters in freestyle and represented his country at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta and 2000 in Sydney. His greatest successes he could celebrate after winning the European Champion title on both the long - as well as on the short track 1,500 meters. In addition Snitko was very successful with the students of the Universiade competitions and secured there four gold medals.
