Imavere Parish

Imavere ( German: Immafer ) is a rural municipality in the Estonian county Järva with an area of 139 km ². It has 1020 inhabitants ( 2010). Imavere is located about 30 km from Paid removed.

In addition to the main town Imavere ( 523 inhabitants) belong to the municipality the villages Eistvere, Järavere, Jalametsa, Käsukonna, Kiigevere, Laimetsa, Pällastvere, Puiatu, Taadikvere, Tammeküla and Võrevere.

Worth seeing is the Estonian Dairy Museum, which is open to visitors since 2001. In addition, take a visit to the ruins of the 1588 -built mansion of Eistvere ( German: Eigstfer ) and the 6.6 -hectare park. There lived from 1908-1914, the Austrian writer Hermynia to mills.
