Kareda Parish

Kareda is a rural municipality in the Estonian county Järva with an area of 91.6 km ². It has 803 inhabitants (as of 2010).

In addition to the main town Kareda (69 inhabitants) belong to the municipality the villages Esna, Müüsleri, Köisi, Öötla and Vodja.

Karede was first documented in 1212 in Liber Census Daniae. Particularly worth seeing is the manor of Esna. The main house in 1821, built the wing in 1880. The park is decorated in English style.
