In Good Company (2004 film)

In Good Company is an American comedy film directed by Paul Weitz from the year 2004.

Action

Dan Foreman is 51 years old and husband of Ann, who is expecting her third child by him. He works in the advertising department of a sports magazine and is the new boss Carter Duryea assumed, which is much younger. To make matters worse Carter falls in love with Alex, who is studying daughter of Dan, with whom he begins a relationship. The unsuspecting Dan feels that his daughter away from him and asks Carter for advice. Carter professes not to relationship.

On the day of his birthday sees Alex and Dan Carter, the hands move cautiously to the house. The next day he follows Carter in a restaurant, who has arranged to meet there with his daughter. He puts his daughter to task and suggests Carter to the ground. Then Alex makes an end to Carter, but not because she does not want to compromise her father, but because Carter a much more serious relationship requires, however, continue Alex's opinion was too much attached to his ex-wife.

The group owner Teddy K holds a short time later before the assembled workforce a speech, during which Dan concerning aimed unpleasant and direct questions greed and denunciations of him. Soundtrack

In addition to some older titles - including Solsbury Hill by Peter Gabriel and Chain of Fools by Aretha Franklin - a series of pieces for the film was shot. The actual score by Stephen Trask (partly in collaboration with Damien Rice), three titles come from Iron & Wine, as well as two more from The Soundtrack of Our Lives. The soundtrack was released for the release of the film at Hollywood Records.
