Incite (band)

Incite is a thrash metal band from Phoenix, Arizona, which was founded in 2004.

History

Incite was founded by Richie Cavalera, the stepson of Cavalera-Conspiracy-/Soulfly-Sänger Max Cavalera, in 2004. Since its inception, the band played every now and then on the shows of the band Soulfly. However, the band broke up after a few years and in 2007 the band was again called into life, with Richie Cavalera on vocals, Zak as a drummer, Dis on the electric guitar and Luis Marrufo on bass guitar. Richie Cavalera was vohrwe already on Inflikted to hear the debut album from Cavalera Conspiracy, guest vocals on one song. Along with bands like Cavalera Conspiracy, Throwdown and Dillinger Escape Plan they were in 2008 on tour through the U.S. and Europe. This Logan Mader ( ex- Machine Head / Soulfly ) was aware of the band and they produced their first EP Divided We Fail, which was limited to 4,500 copies.

Due to the success of this EP, the label I Scream Records took notice of the band and reached an agreement with this. In 2009, then the first album called The Slaughter was taken. In 2012 followed through Minus Head Records second album All Out War.

Style

The band play a modern version of thrash metal, while also occasionally influences are processed from the hardcore punk. In addition to bands like Sepultura and Cavalera Conspiracy allows the group with Hatesphere and Devildriver compare.
