Incunabula is the debut album by British electronica music group Autechre.

Incunabula appeared on 29 November 1993 on the Sheffield-based record label Warp Records catalog number WARP CD17. It is also the seventh part of the Artificial Intelligence series titled albums, the published Warp Records between 1992 and 1994.

Genesis

Sean Booth and Rob Brown had published in 1991 on the small label Hardcore Records Cavity Job, the first single under the name Autechre. Shortly thereafter he moved to Warp Records. After in 1992 on the compilation Artificial Intelligence with Crystel and The Egg two pieces were published by Autechre, Warp Records wanted to release a first album of Booth and Brown. For both initially presented an album of older, already produced pieces together. The final selection of the material took over the label.

In April 1994, also appeared on Warp Records Autechres EP Basscadet, which is a single from Incunabula. In addition to its own new revisions of the tracks EP also contained remixes from Beaumont Hannant and Seefeel.
