International Coalition for the Decade

On 10 November 1998, the General Assembly of the United Nations ( UN), the first decade of the 21st century and the 3rd millennium, explains the years 2001-2010 as the International Decade for a Culture of Peace and Non-Violence for the Children of the World.

Since 2001, emerged in several countries national networks for the decade, for example, in France, Austria, the Netherlands and Italy. These national networks have joined forces with a number of international organizations on June 2003, the International Coalition for the Decade.
