Irina Avvakumova

Irina Andrejewna Awwakumowa, born Taktajewa (Russian Ирина Андреевна Аввакумова ( Тактаева ), also English Irina Avvakumova; born September 14, 1991 Mysa, Leningrad Oblast, Russian SFSR, USSR) is a Russian ski jumper and winner of the Continental Cup 2012/13.

Career

Irina Awwakumowa comes from the small village Mysa in Rajon Gatchina near the southern suburbs of Saint Petersburg. She moved in 2005 from cross-country skiing to ski and was included in the national team in 2009. Her international debut as Irina Taktajewa 8 August 2009 at the Ski Jumping Continental Cup in Bishops Green, where she was 47th. Two weeks later she won in Lillehammer their first Continental Cup points. The season 2009/10 she began by winning three points in Rovaniemi, Finland. It belongs to the experimental elite school for winter sports " Sparrow Hills " ( ЭШВСМ по зимним видам спорта " Воробьевы горы ").

Until their wedding in December 2011 Awwakumowa launched under her maiden name Taktajewa ( Taktayeva ), Russian Тактаева.
