It's Alive is the title of a recorded on 31 December 1977 and 1 January 1978 at London's Rainbow Theatre concert hall live album by the American punk band the Ramones. After the four previous studio albums It's Alive was the first release of live recordings of the band.

Genesis

It's Alive documents the third tour visiting the Ramones in London - after previous appearances in July 1976 and in June 1977 the undercard of this New Year's Eve and New Year's performances the punk band The Rezillos and Generation X. played at this time had also stimulated by the first local. The title of the album is a throwback to the 1974 by Larry Cohen twisted horror film The Cradle of evil, in the original English title " It's Alive ".

In fall 2007, nearly thirty years after the concert, shots were published fourteen songs from the It's -Alive New Year's Eve appearance of the Ramones on DVD for the first time. These images prove that the vocals of Joey Ramone was improved on the album by overdubbing subsequently or newly added.
