Ivaň (Prostějov District)
Ivaň ( German Eiwan ) is a municipality with 472 inhabitants in the Czech Republic.
Geography
Ivaň is 208 m above sea level Graben Vicklyčka three kilometers west of the city Tovačov. The village is located in the Moravian Hanna level between the rivers Blata and Valová.
History
The village was first mentioned in 1359 as Ewany. In the course of its history the city Olomouc patricians and from 1371 belonged to the noble family of Cimburk. It was part of the reign Tovačov and fell in the 16th century Pernštejnové.
