Ivo Pertile

Ivo Pertile ( born August 12, 1971 in Predazzo ) is a former Italian ski jumper.

Pertile was December 30, 1986 in the Four Hills Tournament 1986/87 in Oberstdorf his debut in the World Cup Ski Jumping. But after he landed at the tour only on rear seats, he jumped then another three years only nationally and was only in 1990 again for the World Cup squad of the Italians. Already in his first competition on 16 February 1990 he was able to jump on his home hill in Predazzo 4th place for the first time in the top ten and win his first World Cup points. It was also the highest individual placement in the World Cup. Even later in Lahti, Finland, he won two weeks 12th again World Cup points. In the team competition a day later, which is not part of the official World Cup calendar, he was with the team runner-up and was so for the first time on the podium. Shortly after, he won the silver medal at the Italian championship. He repeated this success a year later, before he in Val di Fiemme number 23 jumped on the normal hill and 43rd at the 1991 Nordic World Ski Championships on the large hill. In the World Cup he remained for a long time without winning points. Despite that he was part of the contingent of Italians for the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville. There he jumped on the normal hill on the 52nd and on the large hill on the 38th. In the team competition, he reached the 13th place together with Roberto Cecon and Ivan Lunardi. Shortly after the Games he won the bronze medal behind Ivan Carlo Lunardi and Pinzani in the Italian championship. In the Ski Flying World Championships 1992 in Harrachov flew Pertile to 22nd position. In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1993 in Falun, Sweden, he reached the normal hill the 46th and the 22th of the large hill place. Also at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer, he was part of the squad and jumped on the normal hill on the 31st and on the large hill on the 32th Place. In the team competition, he was together with Roberto Cecon, Ivan and Andrea Lunardi Cecon at the end of eight. In the Italian Championships 1994 he won bronze again shortly afterwards.
