Ivrindi is a town and a district of the Turkish province of Balıkesir. The city is located about 35 kilometers west of the provincial capital of Balıkesir.

The district is located in the west of the province. It is bordered on the west by Havran, on the north by Balya, in the east to the central district and Savaştepe and on the south by the province of Manisa. The county town is on the road D-230 from Edremit to Balıkesir. In the north of the Ivrindi Koca Çay, also called Madra Deresi flows through the county, crossing about five kilometers north of the lake Yeşilköy Göleti. To the west of the county are the foothills of the mountain range Kocadag.
