Izumi Kyōka Prize for Literature

Izumi- Kyoka Literary Prize (Japanese泉 镜 花 文学 赏, Izumi Kyoka Bungakushō ) was established by the City of Kanazawa in 1973 on the occasion of the 100th birthday and in memory of the writer Kyoka Izumi. The prize is awarded annually to literary works or for the services of a writer. The winners will receive an octagonal mirror and a cash prize of 1 million yen. The award is fantastic literature for the genre. The price is distinguished in that it is awarded to both known and established writers, as well as to newcomers.
