J. P. Vigier

Jean -Pierre Vigier ( born September 11, 1976 in Notre Dame de Lourdes, Manitoba ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who was most recently at the SC Bern of the National League A under contract.

Career

Jean -Pierre Vigier began his active career as a hockey team of the Northern Michigan University, where he was active in the National Collegiate Athletic Association from 1996 to 2000. Then Vigier signed as a free agent with the Atlanta Thrashers in the National Hockey League. In the season 1999/2000 of the attackers gathered at the Orlando Solar Bears of the International Hockey League first experience in a professional league and scored in three games a hit for the Solar Bears. In the following season he was almost exclusively in the IHL in use, but also gave his debut in the NHL and was point and impunity in two games. In the 2001 /02 season Vigier was mainly for the Chicago Wolves, the farm team of the Atlanta Thrashers in the American Hockey League and it won the end of season with the team to the Calder Cup. The right-handed shooter ran one more play time for the HC Servette Genève on the ice. In June 2009 Vigier finally signed a contract with SC Bern. In the 2009/10 season he won the Swiss championship with the Bernese. In April 2011, he extended his contract for another season.
