Derrick Jabar Gaffney ( born December 1, 1980 in San Antonio, Texas) is an American football player. He currently plays at the position of wide receiver for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League.

Career

Gaffney attended the University of Florida, where he was the first wide receiver. He was drafted in the second round by the Houston Texans in 2002 and played there for three years more or less successful. In 2006 he moved to the Philadelphia Eagles, but was placed on the reserve list after a very poor preseason. Even in the season, he signed a two-year contract with the New England Patriots, where it plays better than the previous teams a lot. In 2009 he moved to the Denver Broncos.
