Japan national bandy team

The Japanese Bandynationalmannschaft of Lords represents Japan in international Bandyspielen.

History

In April 2011, the national Bandyverband Japan was founded (日本 バンディ 連盟, Bandi Nihon Renmei ). 2012 debuted the Japanese selection at the World Championships in Kazakhstan Almaty. Japan launched in the C group, encountering Estonia and Kyrgyzstan. The first World Cup game against the Estonians lost Japan 2:6. After two significant victories against Kyrgyzstan and a draw in the second leg against Estonia Japan won the match for third place against 13 Kyrgyzstan 4-0.

2013 Swedish Vetlanda Japan won three times against Ukraine, including the two games to 13th place at the World Cup 2014 in Irkutsk Japan remained in the B- group of B - World Cup in three wins and a draw without defeat.
