Finland national bandy team

The Finnish Bandynationalmannschaft the Lords presents Finland at international matches in Bandy. Finland took in all the Bandy World Championships so far part, always occupied a place in the top four and applies to Russia and Sweden as the best team in the world. The biggest success of the team so far is the World Cup victory in 2004, the Bandysport is in Finland by the Finnish Bandyverband, Suomen Jääpalloliitto ( SJPL, Swedish: Finlands Bandyförbund, FBYF ). Finland at World Championships

Finland is regarded as eternal third in the Bandy World Championships. This is because Finland since 1957 18 times won the bronze, whereas only seven silver medals. The only gold medal for the Finnish team had been in 2004, when they defeated Sweden 5-4.
