Bandy World Championship 1989
The 16th Bandy World Championship was held in the Soviet Union from 29 January to 5 February 1989. The Soviet Union won the final against Finland with 12:2.
The five teams played in the main round once each against each other. The main round first and second qualifying for the final. The Third and Fourth met in the third place play each other again.
Venues
It was played in Moscow and Krasnogorsk. The games were held in Moscow in Olimpiyskiy, which had been built for the Olympic Summer Games in 1980.
