Bandy World Championship 1961
The second Bandy World Championship was held in Norway from February 22 to February 26, 1961.
Norway hosts started the first time at a Bandy World Championship. In addition, Finland, Sweden and the defending champion Soviet Union played for the world championship.
The World Cup was played in the group system. The six games were there on three game days, was where two games played. Between each match day was a day of rest.

It was played in the five cities Porsgrunn, Stabekk, Mjøndalen, Oslo and Drammen.
