Bandy World Championship 1975
The 9th Bandy World Championship was held in Finland from 25 January to 2 February 1975. World Champion was the Soviet Union. However, the hitherto undefeated world champion lost their opening game against Sweden and thus conceded their first defeat in a World Cup game.
It was played a back and a return round, so each team twice met each other and had to contest a total of six games.
Venues
The World Cup games were held in Lappeenranta, Mikkeli, Espoo, Imatra, Tornio, Oulu, Kemi and Varkaus.
