Bandy World Championship 1981
The 12th Bandy World Championship was held from February 7 to February 15 1981 at the Soviet Khabarovsk. For the first time, the Soviet Union did not win the World Cup. Thanks to the 6-1 victory of the Swedes on the opening day of the Soviet Union had for a 1:3 in the second leg in a direct comparison the nose before the tied record world champion.
It was a back and a back round which pitted each team twice met each other and had to contest a total of six games.
