Bandy World Championship 1983
The 13th Bandy World Championships were held from February 15 to February 20, 1983 in Finland. First time, a final between the first two of the main round was held. Sweden succeeded in doing by a 9:3 over the Soviet Union in the final to defend the title. Bronze went to hosts Finland.
It was played by which each team had three games sprinkled a simple round. The group first and second qualifying for the final. The other two teams will compete in the 3rd place match against each other.
