Bandy World Championship 2006
The 26th Bandy World Championships took place from January 28 to February 5, 2006 in Sweden. Venues were Eskilstuna, Gustavsberg, Katrine Holm, Linköping, Oxelösund, Stockholm and Västerås. In the final at the Stockholm Zinkensdamms Idrottsplats Russia won 3-2 against Sweden. Finland won the bronze medal with a 7-4 over Kazakhstan in the small final.
The B World Cup was held in Gustavsberg, Stockholm and from 1st to 4th of February.
