Jean-Christophe Péraud

Jean -Christophe Peraud ( May 22nd, 1977 in Toulouse ) is a French mountain bike, cyclo-cross and road racing cyclist.

Jean -Christophe Peraud launched at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens in the cross-country competition, where he finished in eleventh place. The next year he was in Kluisbergen European champions ahead of his compatriot, the Olympic champion Julien Absalon. In the Mountain Bike World Championships 2008, he won the French national team gold medal in the relay competition. A short time later, he finished second behind Julien Absalon at the Summer Olympic Games in Beijing.

On the road Peraud won the 2007 one lap of the Circuit de Saône -et -Loire, and was third in the overall standings. In the next year he became national champion in the road race in the Amateur at the French Championship. He also won a section at the Tour du Pays Roanne. In the 2009 season Peraud was the Chrono d'Or successful and he became French champion in the time trial.
