Jeffrey Hornaday

Jeffrey D. Hornaday ( May 3, 1956 in Los Angeles ) is an American choreographer and film director.

Life and career

Jeffrey Hornaday began his career in 1982 as a choreographer of the dance film Flashdance and the action film The anarchists clique. This was followed by choreography for the films Romancing the Stone (1984 ) and A Chorus Line (1985). In 1986, he took over the choreography of the 3D sci-fi short film Captain EO with Michael Jackson in the lead role. The film was shown exclusively in the Disney theme parks. More movie where Hornaday has been involved as a choreographer, are Tango and Cash (1989) stinks Life, The Marrying Man (both 1991), Carlito's Way ( 1993), the daughter of the Godfather (1995) and Sweet Jane (1998).

Already in the 1980s he directed two episodes for the anthology series ABC Afterschool Specials (1984) and CBS Summer Playhouse (1987).
