Jens Möckel

Jens Moeckel ( born February 21, 1988 in Leipzig ) is a German football player. He plays primarily on the position of central defender.

Career

Moeckel played in the youth team of FC Sachsen Leipzig and was after he joined the first team in the Oberliga Nordost -Süd active. He quickly became a regular player. For the season 2008/ 09 changed Moeckel to third division FC Rot-Weiß Erfurt, where he prevailed against the competition on the center-back position. For the Erfurt Moeckel played between 2008 and 2011 a total of 93 non- league games in which he scored four goals. Within three seasons Moeckel received 34 yellow cards, which he holds the third league record to this day.

With the start of the 2011/12 season Moeckel joined the second division Dynamo Dresden Movers. He received a two-year contract until 30 June 2013. However, this was resolved after one year beginning August 2012 by mutual consent after Moeckel had not prevailed in the SGD and came only in the second team to use.

A day later Moeckel signed a one year contract until June 30, 2013 at his old club, the FC Rot -Weiß Erfurt, which he extended after a successful first year to 30 June 2016. After a broken leg in September 2013 he fell out for six months.
