Jerry Palacios

Jerry Palacios ( born May 13, 1982 in La Ceiba ) is a Honduran football player. The national team currently stands at LD Alajuelense in Costa Rica under contract. His brothers Milton, Johnny and Wilson also play for the Honduran national team.

Career

Like the other four Palacios brothers, the attacker began his career with Olimpia Tegucigalpa in his home country, where he played from 2001 to 2006 and took several titles. He succeeded, however, there does not prevail and he moved frequently on loan to the club, played for CD Motagua and CD Vida, came in between but always returned to his original club CD Olimpia back.

In 2008 he moved to CD Marathón and quickly established himself as the top scorer of the team.

After two years in China and some other stations in Honduras, he is currently in Costa Rica with LD Alajuelense under contract.

National

Now he was also appointed regularly in the Honduran national team. After qualifying for the FIFA World Cup 2010, appointed him Reinaldo Rueda often the team and he was in the preliminary 30 -man squad for the World Cup. In the end, however, the coach decided that he should not be among the 23 players who would be traveling to South Africa. Shortly before the start of the tournament due to injury loss of Julio Cesar de Leon brought the challenge, but yet to come across as a third of the Palacios brothers to the Honduran squad.
