Wilson Palacios

Wilson Roberto Palacios Suazo ( born July 29, 1984 in La Ceiba ) is a Honduran football player. The national team is currently at the English club Stoke City under contract. His brothers Milton, Jerry and Johnny also came for the Honduran national team used.
Club career
Wilson Palacios played in the youth of Club Deportivo Victoria and was transferred to Club Deportivo Olimpia 2002. In Olimpia he won several league titles before he flew to England in the summer of 2007 to complete a trial at Arsenal. Finally, on a recommendation from Arsène Wenger he stayed with Birmingham City and was until January 2008 on loan from Olimpia.
On 22 September 2007 Palacios was the 0-0 draw against Liverpool his Premier League debut in October and was manager Steve Bruce announced to want to oblige the Central Americans permanently. While Wilson Palacios after the kidnapping of his youngest brother (see below) returned to Honduras for some time, Steve Bruce moved to Wigan and was replaced by Alex McLeish. This had seen the Hondurans to rarely play in order to agree to a transfer and can therefore be refused a permanent commitment.
On January 11, Palacios was brought by Steve Bruce for about a million pounds to the first division club Wigan Athletic. There he remained for about a year, before moving on 21 January 2009 for 12 million pounds in the Premier League to Tottenham Hotspur. National
Palacios heard for some time to the permanent staff of the Honduran national team. He stood with Honduras in the final of the Copa Centroamericana Nations Cup 2005, which was lost on penalties against Costa Rica, and also included during the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2005 to the permanent staff.
