Ryan Shotton Collin ( born October 30, 1988 in Fenton ) is an English football player, but playing in the storm at the beginning of his career was also used on the position of right-back and currently stands at Stoke City under contract.

Career

In his youth, Shotton closed due to the proximity to his hometown of Fenton Stoke City at. At Stoke he went through all the youth teams and in 2007 signed his first professional contract. The originally limited for a month loan was eventually extended until end of season. Against Huddersfield Town he could achieve his first two goals for Rovers in a 2-1 victory. On 23 September 2009 Shotton was awarded for another season, this time, here at the FC Barnsley.Auch he quickly became a regular player and played 30 games in the league. On 10 September 2010 Shotton extended his contract at Stoke by two years until 2013. In December, he sat for the first time in the league against Wigan Athletic on the bench but did not play. In the FA Cup against Cardiff City on 9 January 2011 Shotton played over 90 minutes. On April 30, 2011 Shotton also debuted in the league, 0-0 against Blackpool. In the Europa League, he scored against HNK Hajduk Split his first goal in an international competition. 28 August 2011 succeeded in his first league goal for Stoke when he scored the 1-0 winner against West Bromwich Albion in 89 minutes.
